Riedel SimplyLive Production Suite is now live and accessible through NEP Platform, further expanding the platform's system of third party applications and tools.
NEP Platform is a suite of existing media production applications that gives users access to vision mixing, audio, replay, infrastructure, multiview and measurement tools from recognised technology providers. The Platform adds a flexible orchestration layer of software control – creating one unified, scalable production environment.
It also protects and maintains hardware investments by keeping deployments secure and resilient with continuous scanning, access controls, encryption, real-time monitoring and validated configurations. By only running the necessary tools and using templates to simplify operations, broadcasters can launch shows faster and increase efficiency, without in-depth IP engineering expertise.
Alongside the other software applications on the Platform, integrating SimplyLive as well includes certain advantages, in particular Riedel's expertise in live production, with extreme modularity and scalability. It includes its own replay, ingest recording, streaming and video review capabilities in a flexible suite that can accommodate remote operations based in an OB truck, a studio or in the cloud. Through NEP Platform, operators can now directly integrate SimplyLive into broader production workflows composed of a chosen set of suppliers.
