The 30th AEAF Awards are open to VFX, animation and motion graphics studios producing all types of screened content, long and short form, from titles and commercials to episodic television and feature films.

Winners of AEAF Awards include premier post production and visual effects houses, and many of the world’s top film studios.

The AEAF Awards recognise and reward excellence and creativity in 20 categories of competition -

Commercials Animation – Commercials VFX – Feature Films Animation – Feature Films VFX – Feature Film Sequence – Web Viral – Titles & Openers for TV and Feature Film – Idents – Short Film – Music Video – TV Series – TV Series Children – Student – Games Cinematics – Education & Infographics – Live Event VFX – VR 360 – VR Experience

• Entries are judged on technical skill and artistry in visual effects and animation, and their contribution to storytelling.

• AEAF Online Festival and Recognition – Entrants to the AEAF Awards have the opportunity to show their projects in the AEAF Entries Online.

• AEAF 2026 Awards Screening – Finalists and winners are scheduled to be announced at a screening event in Sydney on 23 July 2026. Details to be confirmed.  

You are welcome to enter projects using the Entry Form. Follow new entries appearing on the AEAF Entries Online page, and look out for news and stories about new projects and teams. The deadline for submissions is 30 May 2026, but can be extended on request.

Admin Fee - EARLY BIRD rates until 1 May £39, US$49, €44, A$59 per entry. An invoice will be sent after your entries have been submitted.
