IP Broadcast Solutions - Remote Production

AJA’s OG-DANTE-12GAM is the world’s first 12G-SDI embedded audio to Dante audio bridge. Targeted at live events and ProAV workflows, the new OG-DANTE-12GAM is a high density, openGear®-compatible solution for bridging 12G/6G/3G SDI sources with embedded audio to and from the Dante IP audio ecosystem with 64-channels of simultaneous bridging per card. Dante audio networking provides digital audio distribution over IP networks, supporting uncompressed, multi-channel, low latency, high-resolution audio, with scalability, simplified wiring, and easy installation. OG-DANTE-12GAM provides a high-density infrastructure solution bridging Dante to SDI and back, ideal for stadiums, theaters, concerts, stage rentals, houses of worship, universities, and other production environments.

OG-DANTE-12GAM features two 12G-SDI ports for input and two 12G-SDI ports for output, providing single cable support of 4K/UltraHD/2K/HD/SD video material and up to 16-channels of embedded audio support per SDI connection. This enables up to 64-channels of SDI/Dante bridging per card, including 32 channels of audio embedding and 32 channels of simultaneous disembedding. OG-DANTE-12GAM features industry-wide compatibility with openGear frames, allowing for up to 640 channels of SDI/Dante audio bridging within a single standard 2RU frame like AJA’s OG-X-FR housing 10 cards. For security and Dante network redundancy, the card features Primary and Secondary 1 GigE Ethernet ports.

OG-DANTE-12GAM features simple user controls via Ross Dashboard and Dante Controller software from Audinate that allow channel enabling and mapping to and from SDI and DANTE. Audio can be bridged, mapped and embedded from Dante sources into each SDI stream or disembedded from SDI and served to Dante destinations via Dante Controller software. DashBoard software offers quick and convenient configuration and control on macOS, Windows and Linux.
